Sunlover Swimwear — Crafted in Rhodes, Greece.

Greek Heritage in Swimwear.

Sunlover was formed in the early 1990s by a Greek family who cared about one thing above all: creating swimwear that fits beautifully, feels comfortable, and holds its shape season after season. What began as a small, hands-on operation grew through persistence, detail, and a love for creating a high quality product that excites and amazes our customers.

From Australia to the Aegean

Our first base was Australia, where we produced swimwear, building a reputation for reliable quality and practical design. Over time, the market became increasingly difficult for independent manufacturers, especially against low-cost production that didn’t follow the same high quality standards.

That challenge became a turning point.

In 1993, we began shifting production to Greece—returning to our roots while keeping activity in Australia for a period. Greece offered more than a production location: it offered identity. The coastline, the light, and the simplicity of island life shaped the way we approached design.

By 1995, Sunlover had fully relocated to Greece and set down lasting foundations in Rhodes.

Designed for island life

Building in Rhodes naturally connected Sunlover to the places where swimwear belongs: summer destinations. As the brand developed, so did our relationships with stores across Rhodes, Crete, Kos, and other tourist islands—partners who valued consistency, fit, and pieces that customers feel good wearing.
